The Lady Indians turned in a dominant performance Thursday night, sweeping Forbes Road in three quick sets (25-10, 25-6, 25-6). Southern Fulton controlled the match from start to finish, improving their record to 9-8.
Elsie Murray led the way from the service line with 19 points and 2 assists, setting the tone for the team’s strong offensive rhythm. Lakyin Hixson followed with a solid 13 points and 1 assist, keeping the pressure on Forbes throughout.
At the net, Claire Harvey delivered 7 kills and 6 points, Bailey Hull added 10 points and 2 kills, while Kennedy Hixon contributed 6 points and 5 assists, helping coordinate the offense. Kamryn Pittman chipped in 6 points and 2 digs, rounding out a well-balanced team effort.
The Southern Fulton Junior High Team continued their strong season with a decisive victory over Forbes Road, winning in straight sets, 25-4 and 25-5. The win improves their record to 11-4.
The Lady Indians will welcome Fannett Metal for a home match on Tuesday, 10/7.
