The Southern Fulton varsity volleyball team improved its record to 4-2 with a sweep of NBC on Wednesday evening. The Lady Indians battled through a tight opening set, pulling out a 26-24 win, before taking control in the second with a dominant 25-13 performance. They closed out the match with a 25-21 victory in the third to secure the straight-set win.
Claire Harvey paced Southern Fulton with 12 service points, 8 kills, 6 digs, an assist, and a block. Kamryn Pittman added 6 points, 5 kills, 10 digs, and 2 assists, while Bailey Hull contributed 5 points, 6 kills, and 9 digs.
Also contributing were Alexis Johnson with a kill, a dig, and a block; Elsie Murray with 5 points, a kill, 3 digs, and 3 assists; Lakyin Hixson with 8 points and a dig; and Kennedy Hixson, who tallied 9 points, 12 assists, and 3 digs.
Southern Fulton will welcome the Hancock Lady Panthers for a home match on Friday, September 5th.
