The Mid Penn Conference released its all-star teams for the spring season this week and 16 Franklin County athletes were named to the first team in their sport.

A pair of Shippensburg players received Player of the Year honors — Tucker Chamberlin in baseball and Cierra Bender in softball.

Chambersburg produced two softball first-teamers (Hannah Runk and Kylee Miller) and two in boys lacrosse (Dom Marangoni and Shea Makosy).

For Greencastle-Antrim, first-team selections included Andrew Kerns (baseball), and Sydney Orndorff and Meadow Gambacurta in softball.

In addition to Chamberlin and Bender, the Greyhounds had Blake Orndorff and Erby Weller (baseball), and Olivia Lebitz (softball) picked to the first team.

James Buchanan’s Morgan Nelling was a first-team softball choice.

For Waynesboro, Garrett Blount and Maddox Brooks made it in baseball and Abby McElroy was chosen in softball.

All Mid Penn all-star teams are voted on by the league coaches.
