Southern Fulton Claims a Blow Out Win Over Claysburg-Kimmel Thanks to Third Inning Boost

An 11-run third inning led the Southern Fulton Indians (9-2, 9-0) to a 17-5 victory on Wednesday.  The offensive onslaught came from an error on a ball put in play by Konner Pittman and Ethan Powell, doubles by Jett Burger and Dane Harvey, a walk by Holden Stotler, a single by Trayton Younker, and a sacrifice fly by Zach Price.

Claysburg-Kimmel got things moving in the first inning.  Aiden Simpson tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Pittman earned the victory on the hill for the Indians. The righthander allowed four hits and three runs over four innings, striking out five and walking zero.  Burger threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Parker Buell took the loss for Claysburg-Kimmel. The bulldog allowed four hits and seven runs over two innings, striking out one.

SoFo Indians tallied 12 hits.  Hunter Ward, Price, Burger, and Kasey Fitz all had multiple hits.

The Indians travel to play a 1 loss Everett Warriors  team tomorrow night in a big ICC South showdown at 4:30pm.
