Facing a 42-29 halftime deficit, Penn State Mont Alto came out on a roll in the second half. Penn State Mont Alto went on a 16-0 run to take a 52-48 lead. During the run, Darrius Bush scored 8 points and Caleb Eckert chipped in 6. Penn State Fayette never saw the lead after Darrius Bush tied the game at 48-48.

Taylor McCormick scored 27 points for Penn State Fayette as Penn State Mont Alto was defeated 62-49 Saturday afternoon in conference action. Kara Newell scored four points in the first quarter, as Penn State Mont Alto trailed after one quarter 15-11.
A McCormick three for Penn State Fayette pushed the lead to 20-11 early in the second quarter. A steal by Madison Blyler led to a Madison Bishop three on the other end to cut the lead to 21-19. Penn State Fayette took a 25-19 advantage to the locker room at half.
Cold shooting loomed large as Penn State Mont Alto shot 2 for 13 (15.4%) in the third quarter, Penn State Fayette won the quarter 18-7.
Alexia Hackett scored all 13 of her points in the final quarter, helping Penn State Mont Alto to 23 points in the 4th.
Penn State Fayette improves to (14-6 overall, 12-4 PSUAC), and Penn State Mont Alto falls to (11-11 overall, 8-9 PSUAC).
