Calvary tops Blazer girls

Calvary Christian wrapped up the top seed in the Mason Dixon Christian Conference tournament by defeating the Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers 3-1 Monday in girls volleyball.

The Blazers (6-9, 4-9 MDCC) lost the first two games 25-10 and 25-21 before rallying for a 25-16 victory in Game 3. Calvary (11-3) then claimed a 25-13 victory in the fourth game.

Regan Bard had 30 assists, five digs and five blocks for the Blazers. Kendra Bard added 10 kills and 11 digs. Also, Morgan Householder had 19 kills, Landrie Miller five digs and Peyton Timmons and Evelyn Ebersole four digs apiece.

Calvary won the JV game, 2-0.
