Chambersburg 1, Greencastle-Antrim 1: The Trojans met the Blue Devils in a non-league game at Trojan Stadium on Monday night and gained their first tie of the season.

The goal for Chambersburg (0-10-1) came after Lexi Fretz took off on a breakaway and passed to Morgan Smith, who knocked the ball into the cage.

Trojan coach Makenzie Magnotta said, “I thought we dominated the game. All the girls worked incredibly hard tonight.

“Adyson Finkle and Kenzie Boyd played their hearts out in the middle of the field and created several opportunities on offense. In the backfield, CeJay Coco, Amber Pyne and Carly Benedict held their ground and stopped anything that came their way. Our goalie, Addyson Hollenshead, had several incredible saves, including three game-changing ones in overtime.”

Last Friday, the Trojans took a 1-0 lead on Central Dauphin on a goal by Fretz, but the Rams came back to take a 2-1 victory.
