BOYS SOCCER
Chambersburg 2, Wilson 1: The Trojans opened their season with a win over the Bulldogs in the first round of a tournament in Berks County on Friday. Chambersburg will play Fleetwood in the final on Saturday.

Andrew Quach and Lleyton Lovett scored goals for Chmbersburg and Goetz Dickman and Quach posted assists. The Trojans out-shot Wilson 17-7.

“It was a great game for sure,” Trojan coach Corey Grove said. “Our mids were top class today and helped control the flow of the game. One of our goals was to hold as many shutouts as possible this year, so it was disappointing to give a goal up with 8 seconds left. But overall, it was a great opening performance.”
