Chambersburg roundup: Boys tennis team falls in opener

Palmyra 5, Chambersburg 0: The Trojans opened their season Wednesday with a road match at Palmyra and a strong Cougars squad came up with a shutout victory.

Palmyra won all three singles matches 6-0, 6-0. At No. 1 doubles, Chambersburg won its only point, falling 6-0, 6-1, while the No. 2 team was defeated 6-0, 6-0.

The Trojans included No. 1 Sam Vessah, No. 2 Kaden Taylor and No. 3 Marcus Rahauser in singles, Hank Stouffer and Paul Hance at No. 1 doubles and David Sandell and Noah Yost at No. 2 doubles.
