Chambersburg roundup: Soccer teams fall to Eagles

Cumberland Valley 2, Chambersburg 1, 2 OT: The Trojans rallied in the second half to tie the game against the Eagles, but CV scored a goal in the second overtime to take a Mid Penn Commonwealth win Thursday night at Trojan Stadium.

The Eagles led 1-0 at halftime, but 9 minutes into the latter half, Andrew Quach dispossessed a CV defender in the right corner, took one dribble and centered a ball on the ground to Braden Chapman, who struck a left-footed shot past the goalkeeper.

Chambersburg finished the season with a record of 7-4-1 (7-4-1 MPC).

Cumberland Valley 7, Chambersburg 0: The Trojans suffered their worst defeat of the season in their last game, falling to the Eagles on the road in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game Thursday night.

Chambersburg finished with a 5-6-1 record (5-6-1 MPC). CV is 11-1 (11-1 MPC).
