FREDERICK, Md. – The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers grabbed a 2-0 halftime lead en route to a 5-0 victory over Frederick Christian Academy Monday in a non-league boys soccer game.

The Blazers (5-1) got two goals from Wyatt Pine and one each from Max Crawford, Ryan Winters and Isaac Kauffeldt. Mario Wiesman contributed three assists, and Pine and Kauffeldt added an assist each.

“The team played well tonight,” Blazers coach Stan Hott said. “Mario played a good game creating chances for just about everyone on the team. Mario has grown as a player and will do great things over the next few years for us.”
