The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers scored early in the game and went on to defeat Mount Union 3-0 Friday in a non-league boys soccer game.
Ryan Winters finished off a cross from Max Crawford in the second minute of the game to put the Blazers (5-4-1) on top, and the game remained 1-0 until early in the second half.
At the 47th minute, Crawford scored on an assist from Noah Randolph. Midway through the second half, Blaine Minnier headed in a corner kick from Randolph to complete the scoring.
Blazer goalkeeper Jack Gabler made 13 saves, and the Blazer defense pretty much kept Mount Union from entering the penalty area for most of the game. The Blazers held a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks.
