The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers took three straight games from McConnellsburg Monday in winning a 3-0 non-league girls volleyball match.
The Blazers (5-2) won the first game 25-10, eked out a 25-23 victory in the second game and then wrapped up the match with a 25-20 win.
For the Blazers, Regan Bard had 15 assists and three blocks, Kerri Potteiger three kills and five digs, Emilee Beam 12 kills and six digs, Ryleigh Timmons eight digs, Niki Schussler three aces, Maddie Eberly six assists, Sarah Vandersleen two blocks, Alexandra Hott five digs, and Morgan Householder five kills.
“Everyone contributed to tonight’s win,” Blazers coach Carole Rosenberry said. “It was a good opportunity to get our reserve players worked in so they get some experience. Emilee Beam led the team with 12 kills. Regan Bard and Sarah Vandersleen were a huge defensive advantage at the net. Regan had three solo blocks and Sarah added two.”
McConnellsburg won the JV match 2-0.
