Warfordsburg, Pa. – Southern Fulton (3-4, 3-4 ICC) edged Forbes Road (1-6, 1-6 ICC) 7-6 in an Inter County Conference game. The Indians were led by Hailee Strait, who went 2-4 with an RBI, and Kylie Golden was 2-2. Golden picked up the win. Indian Head Coach Melissa Mackel commented, “We struggled to hit the ball tonight, but found a way to come out on top!” The Cardinals were led by Quincy McMath, who went 3 for 3, Mara Broadwater was 2 for 3 with a double, and Payton Watkins had 2 hits. Southern Fulton will host McConnellsburg on Thursday at 4:30. Forbes Road will play Southern Huntingdon on Thursday, but the site has not been finalized.

Fannett Metal 16 Tussey Mt. 1

Willow Hill, Pa. – Fannett Metal (5-2, 4-2 ICC) hosted Tussey Mountain in an ICC league game and overwhelmed the Titans 16 to 1. The Tigers used a 12 run 1st inning to take the lead and never looked back on a 16-1, three inning victory. Jamie Adams and Morgan Ritchey both had 2 hits and scored 3 times each, while Lynnzie McClure and Lidia Stouffer added doubles. Jade Rhodes picked up the complete game win, allowing 1 unearned with 4 strike outs. Fannett Metal will face Everett at home tomorrow at 4:30.
