Shanksville, Pa. – Southern Fulton fell to top ranked Berlin in straight sets in the District V Semifinals (25-13, 25-11, 25-14). Lindsey Hollenshead led Southern Fulton with 12 kills, 5 digs and 2 blocks. Jessie Covalt added 6 service points and 2 kills. Marita Murray had 2 blocks and 2 kills, Drew Gordon added 12 assists, and Maddie Unger contributed with 4 digs. Southern Fulton ends their season with a record of 13 wins and 8 losses. Berlin will advance to the District V Championship against Conemaugh Township, who defeated Shade 3-1, on November 1, at 7:00 at a site to be determined.
