Windber, Pa. – Windber took a 2 to 0 halftime lead and held on to down Southern Fulton (4-5) 3 to 1 in a non league contest. Darwin Mazaiegos scored for the Indians and was assisted by Casey Spade. Shots – SF 13 WHS 13. Saves – SF 9 (Colby Whiteside) WHS 8. Fouls – SF 7 WHS 10. Kobe Charney, Nico Flori, and Jacob Steinbeck scored goals for the Ramblers. Indian Coach Hervey Hann said, “We went down 2 to 0 early in the first half. We played a great second half and scored first to make the sore 1-2. They came back with their third score in the second part of the second half. We were knocking on the door a number of times during the second half, but were not able to put it in the net with a number of shots going slightly high or wide.” Southern Fulton will travel to Northern Bedford on Tuesday, September 25th, for a 7:00 start under the lights of Panther Stadium.
