Windber, Pa. – One goal was all that was needed to decide the outcome of Saturday night‘s contest when the Lady Indians of Southern Fulton (7-1) traveled to Windber. Lydia Hiller took a pass from Kylie Golden in the 73rd minute, dribbled passed two defenders, and shot far post to break the previously, scoreless tie. Coach Josh McKelvy said, “The win for the Lady Indians was most definitely a team effort.” Goalkeeper Bailey Burkett and her defense recorded the shutout. The Lady Indians will travel to Northern Bedford on Tuesday, September 25th, for a 5:00 start.

McConnellsburg, Pa. – The Lady Spartan (2-3-1) soccer team beat the North Star Cougars on Saturday by a score of 4-3. Izzy Keefer had two goals, Rebecca Wenshhof and Lainnie Glenn each chipped in with a goal a piece. Kailey Swope had two assists, while Sheridan Perry and Rebecca Wenshhof each added an assist. McConnellsburg will travel on Tuesday, September 25th, to St. Maria Goretti.
