HAGERSTOWN, Md. — The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers improved their record to 10-0 with a 3-1 victory over Heritage Academy Friday in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference girls volleyball match.
The Blazers are in first place in the MDCC with a 7-0 record.
CVCS won the first two games, 25-18 and 25-22, before dropping a 25-22 decision in the third game. The Blazers put away the match with a 25-17 victory in game four.
Mackenzie Householder recorded 34 assists, 4 digs and 4 aces, Tahra Kennedy had 9 kills and 5 aces, Hunter Timmons added 8 kills, 3 digs and 2 aces, Emilee Beam contributed 11 kills, 6 digs and 4 aces, Isabel Beard had 4 digs, Kerri Potteiger had 10 digs, 3 kills and 2 aces, Ryleigh Timmons had 16 digs, and Taylor Heck and Kaitlin Provard added 2 digs each.
