The Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils snapped their two game losing streak defeating Big Spring 8-1 at Greencastle on Thursday.

Nathan Starliper went the distance and struck out 15 Bulldog batters.
Big Spring picked up a run in the top of the first to take a 1-0 lead. Greencastle got on the board with three runs in the bottom of the third, the last two scoring on a 2 run single by Reed Scadden. The Blue Devils added two more in the bottom of the fifth to take a 5-1 lead, Starliper had an RBI double in the inning. Max McDowell’s RBI single made it 6-1 in the fifth. The Blue Devils added two more runs in the seventh.
The win moves the Blue Devils over .500 at 7-6.
