Carter Van Scyoc led the Greyhounds with12 points against the defensive-minded Lions.

The Lions led 16-14 after the first eight minutes but an 8-3 second quarter put the ‘Hounds behind 24-17 and they never recovered from the hole.

Shippensburg (16-10) kept the game within a few possessions but never got over the hump. Alaric Hickman added eight and freshman Collin Taylor added six for the ‘Hounds. Shippensburg’s defense which has been a staple all season, held a high scoring team to 49 points.
