Shippensburg Boy’s Basketball

The Greyhounds fell another game behind front-running Greencastle-Antrim on Friday as they dropped a 45-41 decision at Boiling Springs.

Carson Myers knocked down six 3-pointers for the Bubblers, who have tied the Greyhounds for second place at 6-2, trailing Greencastle who remains unbeaten at 7-0.

The Bubblers jumped out to a 12-6 first quarter lead and were able to maintain that lead despite the efforts of the Greyhounds.

Carter Van Scyoc led the  ‘Hounds with 22 points but Zach Cullen was the second leading scorer with only six points.

The Greyhounds only hit two 3-pointers in the game while the Bubblers knocked down seven from range.

Shippensburg looks to get back on track as they host Big Spring Tuesday night at 8:00pm after the two girls squads battle for first place in Colonial action at 6:30 pm.
