Mount Union 43 Forbes Road 28
Forbes Road (3-4) traveled to Mount Union and dropped a non league contest to Mount Union 43-28. Maddy Miller led the Cardinals with 7 points. Quincy McMath added 6. Kyra Hand led Mt. Union with 12 and Laiken Turner had 10. Lady Cardinal Coach Jamie Gelvin said, “We led by 2 at the half and were only down 2 points headed into the fourth. Unfortunately for the girls we imploded in the 4th quarter. We turned the ball over a lot early in the fourth and couldn’t settle down to make another run until it was too late. Down the stretch we had to foul to try to get back in the game and they made their free throws to keep us at bay.” The Lady Cardinals travel to Fannett Metal tonight. JV – FR 35 MU 25
