The Spartans ( 1-5, 1-3 SHL, 1-3 ICC ) picked up their first win today in year in a league contest against Tussey Mt. Cale Harman led the team with 19 points and Dom Reed had 14 points. Spartan Coach Drew Washabaugh said, “Cale played his best game offensively so far, we almost had 3 guys in double figures also.  Dom had another double double (14 pts. 11 rebounds)  We still have a lot to work on, but it was nice to get a win.  Hopefully we can build on the win for the next game.” McConnellsburg will host Southern Fulton on Friday. JV – MHS 53 TM 36.  Zander Sipes had 12 and Colton Mellott had 11.

Chestnut Ridge 58 Fannett Metal 45

Fannett Metal ( 1-6, 0-5 SHL, 0-4 ICC ) hosted a tough Chestnut Ridge team and dropped a league contest 58-45. Timber Brookens led the Tigers with 15 points. Noah Dillow had 14 points for the Lions. Tiger Assistant Coach commented, “It’s tough for us to stick with a team that’s that deep.” Fannett Metal will travel to Forbes Road on Friday evening.
