The Greyhound cross country squad ended their season on Saturday at Big Spring in the District 3 Class 2A meet.

Junior Teddi Powell finished 39th at 22:06. Catherine Crochunis-Brown, another junior crossed the finish line in 55th place with a time of 22:45.

Freshman Remy Staver was the other Greyhound finisher as she took 99th place at 24:28.

Their distaff group competed as a boys team and placed 17th in the field.

Freshman Kyle ,Buchheister, sophomore Ben Byers, and freshman Gabe Brandt all finished in the top 100.

Other team finishers included freshmen Isaac Covert and Eli Spence as well as sophomore Fran Serrano and senior Bailey Renfrew.

The future looks bright for both teams with the large number of underclass men.
