Fannett Metal upset Rockwood in the first round of the District V Class A boys soccer playoffs. Kyler Goshorn scored in the first half, assisted by Tanner Seibert. Seibert then scored in the second half, assisted by Mathew Peppernick with under three minutes to go in the game. Colby Adams recorded eight saves in goal.

Tiger coach Greg Best said, “The whole team deserved this win.”

The Tigers will now travel to Northern Bedford on Tuesday to take on the McConnellsburg Spartans at 6:00 p.m. in the semifinals.
