Chambersburg roundup 9/7

BOYS SOCCER

Chambersburg 2, Central Dauphin 0: The Trojans (1-1, 1-1 MPC) won on the road Thursday. Chuy Munoz scored the second goal and assisted on the first, a shot by Abram Fox. Goalkeeper Andrew Armstrong preserved the shutout with several strong saves.

Chambersburg coach Corey Grove said, “Chuy Munoz has been playing phenomenal for us thus far. I’m glad his hard work paid off today with a goal — he deserved it. Abram Fox had a nice finish as well; he put himself in a great position to get his first goal of the season and buried it. I thought our backs have been strong as well, especially for starting two sophomores in the back.”
