Chambersburg 3, Cedar Cliff 0: The Trojans picked up their second win over the Colts in 3 days in a Mid Penn Commonwealth clash at Trojan Stadium on Monday night.

“I’m very proud of the guys after tonight’s game,” Chambersburg coach Marc Furfaro said. “We needed a convincing win against a good team and they did exactly that. Things are finally starting to come together for us at the right time.”

Mason Schenzel got the scoring started for the Trojans (7-5-1, 4-4-1 MPC) just 5 minutes into the game after Jason Lopez and Brandon Arana connected on passes. About 10 minutes into te second half, Levi Findley struck a shot from just inside the 18 to make it 2-0.

With 10 minutes left, the Cedar Cliff goalkeeper came out to clear the ball, but Lopez gained control and chipped it over the keeper’s head from about 30 yards out.

Chambersburg keeper Brayden Shoop had 5 saves to earn a shutout, for his team’s third straight win and third straight shutout.
