Chambersburg 4, Central Dauphin East 0: The Panthers were no match for the Trojans on Friday afternoon, winning only 1 point in the four matches in a Mid Penn Commonwealth match at Norlo Park.
After the No. 1 singles resulted in a forfeit, Chambersburg (3-0, 2-0 MPC) was relentless, taking a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 2 by Olivia Keller, and a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 by Nina Kuchar.
In doubles, Gretta Hill and Aria Barberio took a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1, followed by a 6-0, 6-0 blanking at No. 2 by Kendall Temcheck and Sophie Keller.

Quinn takes 1st in Yeager: Chambersburg hosted the annual Enos Yeager Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Tim Cook course and the Trojans’ Natalie Quinn cruised into first place by timing out in 14:49 for the 2.33-mile course.

The Trojans’ Bella Rife was fifth in 16:54, and Taliya Raber (17:20) and Maggie Holtry (17:32) were 10th and 12th, respectively.
Chambersburg coach Chris Monheim said, “Natalie was outstanding and dominated a pretty nice field. Her time was the fourth fastest ever on that course for a Chambersburg runner. It was nice to see the other three girls finish in the top 15 to earn medals.
“We had a few varsity girls out with injury and illness and I’ll be excited to get them back for next week.”
Waynesboro’s Morgan Jones placed 3rd in 15:55, Shalom Christian’s Kassidy Hubers took 6th in 17:02, Evie Jones of Shippensburg was 13th in 17:36, James Buchanan’s Gracyn Diehl was 18th in 18:06 and Sophia Denlinger of Greencastle-Antrim ran a 18:45 to place 29th.

Ship’s Asper takes gold medal: Rylan Asper of Shippensburg opened his senior season of cross country by crossing the line first at the Enos Yeager Invitational at Chambersburg on Friday afternoon. He ran a time of 12:34 on the 2.33-mile course.
For the host Trojans, Cole Lehman was 6th in 13:15, Boston Vincenti was 9th in 13:27, followed by teammates Liam Coy in 10th (13:26) and Tobias Willson in 11th (13:30). Ben Lin also finished in the top 15 to grab a medal, 14th in 13:56.
Nate Snyder of Waynesboro finished in 13:39 for 12th place, James Buchanan’s John Martin took 13th in 13:51, Shay Kane of Shalom Christian ran a 14:05 for 17th and Greencastle’s top finisher was Micah Barrett, 28th in 14:32.
