Kale Strait, Jayden Conley and Jonah McAfee combined to no-hit ELCO in a four-inning game shortened by the 10-run rule to open Section 7 play with a 10-0 win at the Windy Hill Sports Complex in Southern York County on Saturday.

Greencastle broke open a scoreless game with a seven-run third inning and a three-run fourth inning to win its seventh straight game in tournament play.

Nash Mann drove in four runs with a two-run single in the third and a two-run triple in the fourth. Mann, Bryce Eaton, and Kale Strait collected two hits each for Greencastle. Strait had two RBIs with a double in Greencastle’s seven-run third inning, and Eaton also had an RBI single. Noah Sleighter contributed an RBI single. Chandler Doyle had an RBI single.

Greencastle will now play East Side, who defeated Dillsburg 13-1 in a four-inning game on Sunday, July 19, at 1:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on Mid Penn Broadcasting beginning with the pregame show at 12:45 p.m. Click here to listen.
