BOYS LACROSSE
Chambersburg 18, Mifflin County 5: A dominating second quarter put the Trojans in position for a Mid Penn Commonwealth victory over the Huskies in Lewistown on Thursday evening.
It was a notable game for Chambersburg attacker Ryan Cosey, who scored 4 goals and added a pair of assists. That enabled Cosey to break team records in goals for a season and points for a season, records he set last year. Last year included 77 goals and 15 assists for 92 points — so far in 2026, Cosey, who will play next year at Misericordia College, has 81 goals and 12 assists (93 points).
“It was a long bus ride and we came out a little flat, leading just 4-2 after one quarter,” Trojan coach Joe Wilmot said. “Then we scored 10 in the second to lead 14-3 at the half. We had a lot of guys contribute today and it was a good team effort.”
Blake Dupont rang up 5 goals and an assist for Chambersburg (8-5, 7-5 MPC) and Braylen Davis produced 3 goals and 3 assists. Parker Watkins scored 3 times and had an assist and Matt Tucker scored twice and added 2 assists.
