Big 3rd quarter powers Shalom Lady Flames over Southern Fulton

The Shalom Lady Flames picked up a road win Saturday afternoon, defeating a solid Southern Fulton Lady Indians team, 50–33.

Southern Fulton came out quickly, taking an early 6–2 lead. After a defensive battle in the first quarter, the Flames edged ahead 7–6. Shalom opened the second quarter with an 11–2 run and looked ready to pull away, but the Lady Indians answered with a late surge to close the half within five.

The Flames came out of the locker room locked in on defense, which sparked a dominant 21–9 third quarter. Shalom stretched the lead to 39–22 by the end of the period. The teams played an even fourth quarter, while Bailey Hull led Southern Fulton with a game-high 21 points.

Emily Rebok paced the Flames with 19 points. Addison Adams’ energy ignited the defense in the second quarter, and she finished with 12 points. Sophomore Sydney Moore added 9, while Maya Lehman and Harper Adams chipped in 5 and 3 points to round out the scoring.

Next up, the Lady Flames host Our Lady of the Cross on Monday at 5:30 PM, weather permitting.
