Shalom Lady Flames defeat Camp Hill

The Shalom Lady Flames picked up a 44–28 home victory over the Camp Hill Lady Lions on Monday evening. The Flames started the game a bit sluggish offensively, but strong defense helped them maintain a 7–2 lead at the end of the first quarter. Shalom found its rhythm in the second quarter, outscoring Camp Hill 15–9 to take a 22–11 advantage into halftime.

The Lions made a push in the third quarter, outscoring the Flames by four and cutting the lead to seven. However, Shalom’s defense stepped up once again in the fourth quarter, holding Camp Hill to just two points while scoring 11 of their own to pull away for the decisive win.

Senior Emily Rebok led the Flames with 13 points, shooting her way out of a brief scoring slump. Maya Lehman continued her three-point surge, knocking down two more triples on her way to 12 points. Freshman Harper Adams added nine points and brought great energy on the defensive end, while Addison Adams continued to set the tone defensively and contributed eight points.

The Flames face a quick turnaround as they host the New Covenant Lady Flames tomorrow night at 6 PM. New Covenant currently sits second in the Class A District 3 power rankings.
