GIRLS BASKETBALL
Carlisle 41, Chambersburg 32: The Trojans produced more points than they had recently, but it wasn’t quite enough to defeat the Thundering Herd in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game in Carlisle on Friday night.
A 13-7 advantage in the third quarter for the Herd (3-9, 1-6 MPC) enabled them to pull away a bit.
For Chambersburg (1-10, 0-7 MPC), Maddie Mills posted 13 points to lead the way, Tori Price contributed 9 points (on a trio of 3-pointers), and Bella Noel equaled a season-high with 6 points.
Carlisle got 15 points from Isla Heckman and 14 from Brynn Eiserman.
