G-A roundup: Blue Devils get back on winning track

Greencastle-Antrim 58, Garden Spot 39: The Blue Devils shook off a loss in the Garden Spot Tournament’s first round to take down the host Spartans in the third-place game on Tuesday.

Greencastle (7-2) worked into a 10-point lead (28-18), and it was up to 12 points until a 17-10 edge stretched the lead in the final quarter.

Cooper Green led the Blue Devils by scoring a career-high 18 points, hitting 7 of 10 from the free throw line.

Alex Albright notched 14 points and Camden Eby produced a season-high 9 points.

For Garden Spot (1-8), Seth Musselman scored more than half of his team’s points by totaling 20. He knocked down five 3-point shots, including 4 in the third period.
