Central York 47, Chambersburg 25: The host Panthers built a 31-10 lead by halftime and handed the Trojans a defeat in the 3rd-place game of the Central York tournament on Tuesday afternoon.
“We’re still trying to find ways to put it all together,” Trojan coach Jamiur King said. “We really competed today and our spurts (of good play) are getting longer. Progress over perfection.”
Sophie Woy led Chambersburg (1-7) with 8 points, Maddie Mills scored 7 and Tori Price contributed 6.
For Central York (5-5) got 14 points from Mya Johnson and the Panthers knocked down seven 3-pointers.
