FIELD HOCKEY
Greencastle-Antrim 5, Waynesboro 0: Natalie Medina had a hand in all 5 goals and helped the Blue Devils collect a shutout win over the Maidens in a Mid Penn Colonial game in Waynesboro on Wednesday afternoon.
Medina knocked the ball into the cage 3 times herself, and assisted on another 2 goals for Greencastle (1-1, 1-1 MPC).
“We came back strong today and we got the job done,” G-A coach Keara Allshouse said. “We worked a lot at practice based on Monday’s game and the girls put it into practice tonight. We played our game today and it paid off.”
Also scoring for the Blue Devils were Camryn Guthrie and Rowan Shubert, while Shubert had 2 assists and Sydnee Russell had one. Goalie Rebecca Jones stopped one shot.
