Mid Penn Colonial: Shippensburg and Northern York tied with 303 strokes Friday afternoon at the Polar Bears’ home course, Range End, but the Greyhounds prevailed in a tiebreaker to hand Northern its first loss in the Colonial.

The Bears (17-1) hold a 2-win lead over Ship (15-3). James Buchanan (12-6) is third and took third place Friday with a total of 317. Waynesboro was fifth and Greencastle-Antrim sixth.

Shippensburg’s Kaydee Beckenbaugh and teammate Ben Horgos each shot 72, which was 1 over par. Kayden Ramsey also shot 76 to tie for sixth.

For James Buchanan, Abram Stock was fourth with 73 and teammate Taylor Blair shot 74 for fifth place.

Waynesboro’s Caiden Shacreaw shot 79 and for G-A, Bryce Davidson posted an 80.
