SHIPPENSBURG — Storms across the region put a damper on the District 3 Track & Field Championships on Friday at Shippensburg University’s Grove Stadium.

Derek Lynch, a senior at Shippensburg, captured a District 3 crown Friday by throwing the discus 176-4 to earn a Class 3A gold medal (photo courtesy District 3).
