Southern Fulton Rolls Past Claysburg-Kimmel

Southern Fulton Indians (13-0, 4-0) easily dispatched Claysburg-Kimmel on Tuesday, 10-0 in Claysburg. 

The Indians got on the board in the top of the first inning after Jett Burger doubled to center field, and Austin Mann singled to right field, each scoring one run.

Joel Fitz earned the win for the Indians. The senior hurler was lights out as he gave up two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking three. Dustin Slowik took the loss for Claysburg-Kimmel. The hurler went four and two-thirds innings, surrendering three runs on six hits, striking out seven and walking three.

Southern Fulton piled up 14 hits in the game. Paul Hendershot led Southern Fulton with three hits (2 doubles) in four at bats. Mark Fitz and Owen Oakman each drove in two runs for the Indians. Fitz and Burger each collected multiple hits for the visitors. 

Next up for Southern Fulton is a big ICC South division game against Fannett Metal on Friday.
