The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers scored three second-half goals and went on to defeat Highland View Academy Thursday in a non-league girls soccer game.
“We started out slowly in the first half but came to life in the second half in a very scrappy game,” Blazers coach Tim Hott said. “All three goals came in the second half, with Cecilia Hott getting her first varsity goal. The highlight of the game was a beautifully placed corner kick by Reagan Witmer to Addison Teal, who put a spectacular side volley into the back of the net.”
Teal added the other goal, and Witmer assisted on all three goals.
