The Shalom boys played a tough game. Entering the top of the fifth they would be down 2-0, but that would soon change. They scored 8 in the top of the fifth and go on to win 10-2 over Heritage Academy.
Will Turner would lead the game with three hits and Carter Defenderfer with two hits.
Curtis Peckman would get the start and go three innings, striking out two and only allow one run. Over the course of the last four innings Shalom would use four more pitchers and then would only allow one run across the rest of the game.
Shalom will look for their first PIAA win this Thursday at home against York County Tech.
