Shalom Lady Flames defeat Turkeyfoot

The Shalom Lady Flames inched closer to a potential PIAA district playoff berth with a resounding 56-31 victory over the Turkeyfoot Lady Rams at home on Saturday.

Emily Rebok sparked the Flames with two early three-pointers, propelling them to a 14-6 lead after the first quarter. Despite facing a tough, physical challenge and struggling with perimeter shooting and foul calls that disrupted their momentum, the Flames maintained control. In the decisive fourth quarter, fueled by Addison Adams and Maya Lehman, they surged ahead with a 21-6 run to take a commanding victory.

Addison Adams delivered another standout performance, overcoming a slow first half to score 18 points in the second, finishing with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Emily Rebok stepped up in the first half, contributing 10 of her 14 points before halftime and securing 9 rebounds. Maya Lehman was a steady presence, scoring 12 points while adding 6 assists and 5 steals. Julianna Myers dominated the boards, pulling down 10 of the Flames’ 40 total rebounds. Freshman Sydney Moore continued to impress with 4 points and 9 rebounds, showcasing her growing impact on the team.

The Lady Flames’ standout performance against a very physical Rams team was impressive. Next, they will face the Steel High Lady Steam Rollers on Monday at 6:00 p.m. in Harrisburg
