Greencastle-Antrim 27, West Perry 24: The Blue Devils earned their first-ever girls wrestling victory on Wednesday night by edging the Mustangs in a Mid Penn Conference match at G-A.

Greencastle wrestlers came out on top in two of the four bouts wrestled. Aniuta Pavlii started the dual off with a 4-0 decision at 106 pounds.

At 130, Jazmin Corbin was able to pin her opponent, Destiny Winkleman, in just 28 seconds.

G-A (1-3) won by forfeit at weights, 112 (Brandy Trail), 136 (Aliyah Masser) and 142 (Rachael Graham). West Perry is 4-11.

West Perry 67, Greencastle-Antrim 5: The Blue Devils hosted a strong Mustang team on Wednesday night and suffered a Mid Penn Colonial defeat.

West Perry (16-5, 6-2 MPC) won all but one match, including 6 by pin and 2 others by technical fall.

The lone victory for Greencastle (5-10, 1-4 MPC) came at 121 pounds, where Chance Zimmerman piled up a 16-1 technical fall over Joshua Foster.

At 160, the closest match happened, with the Mustangs’ Tanner Zeigler edged Landon Hinkle, 5-3.
