McConnellsburg Rolls Over Northern Bedford County

 McConnellsburg 65 Northern Bedford County 21. The Spartans rolled up to Northern Bedford County to face the Panthers in a non-conference game Wednesday night December 18th stormed early to a large lead and rolled on to an easy win for their third straight season victory and seventh straight win over NBC.
The Spartans (4-1 overall, 0-0 ICC South) were led by junior forward Brayden Ramsey with 20 points and sophomore guard Hoyt Glenn with 11 points.
The Spartans dominated the offensive play. After one, the Spartans were handily ahead 22-2. At the half, the Spartans’ lead was 22, 33-11. They opened it up to a 30-point lead in the third quarter, ending at 47-17. The fourth quarter continued to roll with a running clock as scoring racked up with several bench players to get opportunities to showcase ball control and teamwork. The Spartans’ defense worked well, in large part to the numbers of steals and block shots with forced turnovers, to minimize the Panthers’ offense.
