Greencastle-Antrim 51, West Perry 26: The Blue Devils held the Mustangs scoreless for a stretch of 14 minutes on their way to a Mid Penn Colonial victory on their home court Thursday night.

In a second quarter that was was cold for both teams, Greencastle (4-4, 2-2 MPC) pitched a 5-0 shutout. Then in the third period, the G-A offense took off, outscoring West Perry 23-6. Liv Carey had all 8 of her points in that quarter and Kiersten Swain had 5.

Swain led her team with 13 points, while Meadow Gambacurta, Eva Martin (5 steals) and Ellie Bigler each had 7 points. Callie Izer hauled down 11 rebounds and Carey added 5.

West Perry 47, Greencastle-Antrim 45: The Blue Devils rallied late to tie the score at 45, but the Mustangs scored the final points with 3 seconds left to pick up a Mid Penn Colonial win Thursday night in Elliottsburg.

Greencastle scored 6 straight points to tie the game and won a defensive rebound with a minute left. G-A tried to hold the ball for the last shot, but turned it over with 20 seconds to go. After a timeout, West Perry scored the game-winner.

Alex Albright and Carter McCauley each scored 11 points for the Blue Devils (2-4, 1-3 MPC), Noah Parks had 7 and Landen Swain added 6.

Jaxon Bower led West Perry with 14 points.

Greencastle-Antrim 53, James Buchanan 24: The Blue Devils reversed an earlier result against the Rockets, using four pins and four forfeits to defeat JB on Thursday night in Mercersburg in a Mid Penn Colonial match.

On Saturday, in James Buchanan’s duals tournament, JB took a 3928 win over G-A.

Notching pins for Greencastle (3-3, 1-1 MPC) were Landon Hinkle (172), Ayden Amsley (189), Kahl Cordell (114) and Aiden Crouse (133), while Jackson Polifka (127) had a technical fall.

For the Rockets (4-4, 0-2 MPC), Alex Brake (152), Diego Atherton (107), Blake Bishop (139) and Finn Lorson (145) had pins.
