Greencastle-Antrim 3, Gettysburg 0: The Blue Devils remained unbeaten in the Mid Penn Colonial by blanking the Warriors in games of 25-12, 27-25 and 25-17 on Tuesday evening in a home match.
Greencastle is now 13-1 (9-0 MPC) and is ranked No. 1 in Class 3A in the District 3 rankings.
Kylie Kerns filled the stat sheet with 8 kills, 14 service points and 15 assists. Abby Eagler contributed 7 kills, 11 points (4 aces) and 8 digs.
Emma Pool (4) and Addison Miller (3) led in blocks, Jordyn Wagner had 8 kills, Morgan Kline dug up 15 balls and Alaina Garling had 16 assists.
BOYS SOCCER
Greencastle-Antrim 2, Mifflin County 0: The Blue Devils scored a goal in each half to tame the Huskies in a Mid Penn Colonial game at Kaley Field on Tuesday night.
Greencastle (4-8 (4-6 MPC) peppered the Mifflin County goal with 15 shots, while G-A goalkeeper Joe Lofton had to make only 2 saves.
Coper Noblit scored the Blue Devils’ first-half goal unassisted. In the second half, Liam Fulton found the net, after an assist by Garrett Oberholzer.
GIRLS SOCCER
Greencastle-Antrim at Mifflin County: The game was postponed; no date has been announced yet.
The girls makeup game at home vs. Boiling Springs will be held on Oct. 15 at 7 p.m.
