FIELD HOCKEY
Greencastle-Antrim 4, Waynesboro 0: In a Mid Penn Colonial game stopped at halftime because of the excessive heat, the Blue Devils picked up a shutout victory at Kaley Field.
“The girls played a good game that was cut short by the weather,” G-A coach Keara Allshouse said. “The team did a great job of executing passes and keeping constant pressure on during the second quarter.”
Jensen Keefer led the way on offense for Greencastle (1-1, 1-1 MPC) with a pair of goals. Natalie Medina knocked one shot into the cage and Camryn Guthrie scored the last goal for the Blue Devils.
