Jimmy Bell drove in five runs on three hits, including a three-run homer in the third and a two-run triple in the first, leading James Buchanan to a 12-10 victory over Big Spring.
The Rockets scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning after Big Spring jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first.
Big Spring cut the gap to 5-4 in the top of the second.
Carter Hissong hit a two-run double in the bottom of the second, putting the Rockets on top 7-4.
James Buchanan collected 13 hits in the game Bell, Parker Summers, Drew Crouse, and Bryson Bennett each collected multiple hits for the Rockets.
Wess Reall went 3 for 4 for Big Spring, and Josh Hockersmith knocked in four runs for the Bulldogs.
Drew Crouse started for the Rockets, allowing five runs and five hits. Tucker Appleby threw two innings of scoreless relief, allowing one hit and striking out two. Rockets pitching combined to walk eight batters in the game.
James Buchanan will host Hanover on Thursday.
