The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers broke open a close game with three quick goals to start the second half and defeated Eukarya Christian Academy 7-0 Tuesday in a non-league boys soccer game.
The Blazers (16-3-1) led 1-0 for most of the half before Finlay Smith scored before halftime to make the score 2-0. The Blazers then put the game away with a scoring barrage to start the second half.
Smith scored a hat trick to lead the Blazers, and Titus Hott, Cort Stouffer, Bradley Stayman and Gage Brookens added goals. Brookens provided three assists. Also garnering assists were Hott, Grayson Stayman, Preston Conner and Christian Booher.
Gabe Beckering recorded 15 saves, including stopping a penalty shot to preserve the shutout.
