Greencastle-Antrim 2, West Perry 0: The Mustangs played the Blue Devils tough, giving up only one goal in each half of a Mid Penn Colonial game in Elliottsburg on Wednesday night.
Haley Noblit scored Greencastle’s goal in the first half, assisted by Maddie Koons. That gives Noblit 99 career goals heading into Senior Night on Monday at home against Gettysburg.
“It has a chance to be a special Senior Night at home if she can find the net,” said G-A coach Chris Noblit, Haley’s father.
In the second half, Cat Marchiano scored her first goal of the season for Greencastle (10-2, 9-1 MPC), with an assist going to Bailey Hurley.

Greencastle-Antrim 1, West Perry 1: The Blue Devils tied the game with 24 minutes to go, but constant pressure on the Mustangs’ defense couldn’t buy another goal and they had to settle for a tie in a Mid Penn Colonial game at Kaley Field on Wednesday night.
Mason Sanno scored early for West Perry, but an unassisted goal by G-A’s Nolan Sullivan tied it.
“I thought we dominated possession for the entire game, but we were just a little bit off with our touches and passes in the final third in the first half,” Blue Devil coach Aric Bruner said. “In the second half, West Perry packed it in and allowed us to get some great momentum.
“We dominated the final 20 minutes, but we had a penalty kick saved with three minutes to go. Both goalkeepers played amazingly well.”
For Greencastle (10-0-2, 9-0-1 MPC), keeper Ethan Ford made 10 saves, and WP keeper Andrew Reisinger had 11.
